On planet Hamoni everyone is happy. If life were simply a crazy, happy "Nollywood" film then Mr. Hamoni would deliver the body-shaking soundtrack to go with it. This Nigerian singer/songwriter/producer
of the Afro hip-hop genre simplifies the stresses of life in his in his songs by invoking good times as much as possible.

The handsome entertainer from Creek Town, Cross River in Nigeria channels his love and zest for life into his music. Mr. Harmoni whose real name is Eyo Edem Oku penned down the lyrics to his first song at age 11 and has not looked back since then. Some of his musical influences include, James Brown, Majek Fashek and Fela.

Mr. Harmoni’s singles from his debut album “Ogiagia”, “Musangha” and Gyrate are invading mp3 players, parties and airwaves all over Naija. He featured in the 2008 BraideO!’s “unplugged style” compilation, Soundcheck and has 3 singles on the latest Soundlab 2009 singles compilation.

Additional information
Mr. Harmoni hooked up with Opubo Braide, CEO of BraideO! Sound Lab in 2004 through an uncle. Since then he’s been working under the nurture of his management on developing his skills as a songwriter, singer and producer.
He has been a staple act at the famed Cross River State Christmas Festival from 2005 through to date and various shows and events across the country. Mr Hamoni is fascinated with Nigerian folklore and has created an alter ego/epic hero, King of Musanga .
