His musical taste ranged in all genres but he always found himself deeply absorbed by Reggae and dancehall From then it was his dream to produce music that reaches the hearts of many people and possibly giving them that inch of joy in their lives.

As an African with a passion for his mother-land nature and music has driven him to all corners of the World in search of pure musical fun, inspiration and motivation, at the same time jaming, meeting and networking with some wonderful people along the way. Working and promoting me fresh upcoming album titled: IMPERIAL LIGHT. JKL is a warrior on Jah`s mission, a reggea and dancehall advocates. When asked he said~ I have since developed myself as an artist. I look up to God for my ultimate inspiration, from my peers I’m inspired by Buju Banton, U Roy, Joseph Hill, Majek Fashek , Orits Wiliki, Ras Kimono, Daniel Wilson, Balcky, Fela of Africa, Salif keita of Mali, Yusundu of Senegal, Frances Goldman of Ghana, late Legend Peter Tosh, late great Bob Marley and many more. I especially love reggae dancehall. I am all about positive vibes, music that makes people happy. The message I try to really put across is oneness, as we are all one in the eyes of our creator.
